The septoplasty is a surgical procedure performed to correct a nasal septum deflected. The nasal septum is the structure that separates the two nostrils and is made up of bone and cartilage. When the nasal septum is deviated, it can cause nasal obstruction, shortness of breath, chronic nasal congestion, and other respiratory problems.
